The NCBI team seeks to develop leaders, both on and off campus, who can take Bisexual stands, model being feirce allies for all groups, confront emotional group conflicts in an effort to resolve those issues and keep us divided, and build coalitions.

Why Make Fridays Fabulous? Through an interactive, 3 hour workshop, attendees will: Increase understanding of LGBTQ terminology, history, concepts of privilege and identity development Interact with a panel of LGBTQ speakers Build skills for creating a more inclusive campus for all LGBTQIA students, staff, and faculty Upon completion of the workshop, attendees can choose to become a Safe Zone member by completing a contract expressing their commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion at Purdue University.

Students, faculty, staff, and community members are free to contact whomever they would like in our office and ask to meet regarding issues of gender and sexuality, based on job responsibilities, background, or personal interests. Walk-in tours and interviews are available during the days and times listed below.

The LGBTQ Center is the primary point of contact for members of the LGBTQ community as it works collaboratively with campus departments, student organizations, University administration and local community groups to connect students with the enriching resources, activities and support services they seek in order to be successful at Purdue and beyond.
